First of all, thank you for visiting my site! A Haute Steal was something that I dreamed of starting for a very long time. It really stems from my entrepreneurial passion and unequivocal love for designer goods (mainly handbags) and wanting to share that passion with other fashion forward people. I don't know about you but I find great joy in helping someone to find THE PERFECT BAG (amongst other things).

I will be your primary point of contact and I encourage you to ask me any question that you may have concerning the items that are listed. There is never a bad question and I will do my utmost to ensure that you are fully informed. The reason why I say this is because there are so many sites online that claim to be selling authentic designer goods and as a shopper, I have also developed an aversion to them because I could never really get over those trust issues.

At a Haute Steal we're all about breaking all the barriers between you and buying authentic luxury goods at an affordable price- and that includes bridging the trust gap. I  even included the word 'Steal' in our name so it's practically engrained with our vision. Too often, we find ourselves pouring over Ebay and pondering over the authenticity of what we are trying to buy. Our job here is simple, we are here to remove that uncertainty from the equation as we personally guarantee the authenticity of everything that we list and that includes honouring a full refund should the authenticity be aptly called into question. After pouring over the internet, from reading shopping experiences on forums, to  comprehensive guides on how to tell reel from real for each designer brand, you can bet that I have developed an impeccable eye and checklist for weeding out the fakes. To add to that, I have also made numerous trips to niche markets in China, Shanghai in particular, which is notorious for their top quality fakes- ones that you can only see behind closed doors. One of the reasons behind these trips is get a better understanding of the advancements in knock-off bags particularly the materials being used so that I cross-reference them against bags from my own collection that include Yves Saint Laurent, Prada, Celine, Bally, Gucci, Mulberry and Salvatore Ferragamo.
